Characteristics

The inner cavity of the valve body, the sealing groove of the disassembly surface, and the flange sealing surface are all coated with PTFE (or reinforced FEP) lining as a whole, with a thickness of 2-3mm. The lining is formed by compression molding and sintering process, and is firmly combined with the metal valve body without bubbles or delamination defects. It can completely isolate corrosive media such as strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents from contact with carbon steel/stainless steel valve bodies, eliminating the risk of corrosion and leakage.

Lining Characteristics
Advantages

1. Corrosion & Wear Resistance

The valve body material can be selected from carbon steel (WCB) and stainless steel (304/316). The lining options include PTFE, FEP, and nitrile rubber. The PTFE lining version withstands most corrosive media, while the wear-resistant modified lining handles slurry media containing solid particles like desulfurization wastewater.

2. Fatigue Resistance & High Performance

Featuring an integrated forging process, the valve stem connects to the plate without pins, eliminating loosening risks. Rated for over 100,000 opening/closing cycles. Low torque design allows for labor-saving manual operation and fast response (≤ 3 seconds) when paired with pneumatic or electric actuators.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the maximum temperature range for this butterfly valve?
A: The standard operating temperature range is between -20°C and 120°C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial thermal processes.
Q: Does this valve provide a complete seal against leakage?
A: Yes, it is designed to a "Zero Leakage" sealing grade with a bidirectional sealing direction, ensuring safety in critical pipelines.
Q: What makes the lining resistant to corrosion?
A: The valve is lined with a 2-3mm layer of PTFE or FEP, which is sintered and compression-molded to isolate the metal body from strong acids, alkalis, and solvents.
Q: How many cycles can the valve withstand?
A: Thanks to the integrated forged stem and pinless connection, the valve is tested to withstand more than 100,000 opening and closing cycles.
Q: Can these valves be used with automated systems?
A: Absolutely. With low opening torque and fast response times (≤ 3s for pneumatic), they are ideal for frequent-action automation control systems.
Q: What industries are best suited for these valves?
A: They are widely used in power generation (thermal power plants), petrochemical refineries, and systems handling corrosive wastewater or slurry.
